Banana Split
Rochi Lana is an Argentine illustrator and pattern designer whose work is situated between the narrative and the symbolic. She combines figurative imagery, bold forms, and playful compositions within a contemporary visual language. Through a mixed-media approach, she integrates manual and digital techniques, exploring repetition and visual rhythm. Her practice unfolds across three universes: intimate scenes with tables, objects, and animals; symbolic compositions based on patterns; and minimal still lifes. She explores the everyday through an intimate and nostalgic lens, with playful undertones and a subtle sense of humor present in her compositions and recurring motifs. Inspired by nature, animal life, and the culinary world, she creates images that oscillate between the domestic and the surreal.
