Coco Hewitt

Coco Hewitt is an artist who lives and works in London. She earned a BA from Central St Martins and an MFA from The Slade School of Fine Art. Coco Hewitt's work is rooted in the relationship between memory, place and landscape. Her intuitive gestural painterly technique frequently moves towards abstraction, capturing moments in time. Places from memory are re-constructed through extensive layering, becoming fragmented in the expressive use of colour built up in a series of layers to create depth, texture and movement.
