Sold out in 24 hours

We collaborated with London-based artist Jack Marshall (@j.g.marshall) to release a limited edition print, which sold out in less than 24 hours. Understanding the importance of utilising Instagram, Jack announced the launch using it and maintained momentum until the artwork sold out

Stats:

100 Prints sold
24 Hours to sell out

What helped Jack optimise for maximum sales:

Keep 90% of the profit: Take advantage of how we give artists 90% of the profit for sales they generate. Utilise this by adding the trackable artist link to your social profiles and website. When communicating with your fans and followers, give them a clear call to action to visit your profile and click the link

Scarcity: Use lower edition numbers to create scarcity and convey urgency when communicating with your fans and followers. Promote when sales milestones are reached, for example, "Only 50% left"

Realistic pricing: Priced at £70 for 12x16", this was a very well priced artwork. He could have charged more and they likely would have still sold out, but it made it more affordable to a larger audience which would have contributed greatly to the speed at which it sold out

Limited edition prints work really well if you have an active following and want a fast injection of sales
