Liorzh

Born in 2001 in coastal northwestern France, Liorzh credits his influences to the 20th century converging the surrealism, and the vivid architecturalism of Bauhaus, with the retro dreamscapes of Golden-age Sci-fi. Liorzh style is instinctual and non-traditional. Self - taught since 2020, Gabriel is guided by his training in landscaping and further informed by his colour-blindness which draws him to the dynamism of 70s colour palettes. Yet, at heart his work is inspired by his love of music. The result is kaleidoscopic colour, and bold gradients which visually illustrate sound.
