Based in Salem, Massachusetts, Slimesunday is a collage artist who constructs surreal and often unsettling compositions out of digital photographs that broach questions of censorship, consumerism, and sexuality. In 2021 he debuted his “What The Fork?” collection in NY with Phillips, followed by “SPF 30” with Christie’s at Art Basel Miami. His work can be found in Playboy, Hunger, Vice, Plastik, and Glamour Magazine. His star-studded resume includes projects with J. Cole, Lana Del Rey, Katy Perry, J Balvin, and Beck. He earned his BA in Psychology from Salem State University

It’s my take on an eye in the sky. Christianity teaches that if you do something bad, there is always someone watching you

My relationship with religion growing up
What does this artwork express?
Religious ideologies tortured me as a child, I convinced myself I was going to hell at age 9. It really screwed me up. So throughout my career as an artist, I tend to poke fun at religion as a way of dealing with that trauma
