Tish von Broen

Tish von Broen is an English painter from Essex living in London, as a self taught artist she refers to the seven years she spent working in the tattoo industry as her artistic education. Tish has been painting exclusively in oils since early 2026, after working with inks and gouache for many years. Inspired by seeing the character and possibility of a still moment, her work deals with themes such as repetition, isolation and impending change. Alongside lightness, simplicity and naivety, it aims to create a world that feels familiar yet suggestive of something deeper.
